Tools are just that -- tools!

Selecting the best tool happens AFTER you determine your purpose and goals

First, think about what you want students to know and be able to do. Consider your curriculum, your instructional goals, and the skills you want your students to explore or acquire. Then, sort through the toolbox to find the appropriate tool(s) to suit your lesson or unit of study. You may use one of these tools, or you may use several tools. Let learning be your guide!

Click on the icon to access our carefully curated list of tools that you may find useful when engaging students during real-time learning. Some of these tools may be useful during anytime learning, too.

Each entry includes a brief description of the tool, as well as benefits and limitations. Of course, benefits and limitations are in the eye of the beholder. You may define the use, benefits, and limitations differently, and that’s okay! In fact, that’s what makes educators phenomenal.

Use the tools in the way YOU see fit, for the purpose you intend, to accomplish the goals you and your students have set. Enjoy!
